Synopsis: Solid movie based upon a real life story at the time of Partition, about Boota Singh (Gurdas Mann) married to a Muslim girl who is forcibly deported to Pakistan in the mess that was the partition, leaving behind her daughter. He eventually goes in search of her, but she repudates him under pressure. Boota Singh dies, and in fact his grave is still in Lahore. Excellent work by all actors, Gurdas Mann is noted for quality products, and this is one of them. A joy for Punjabi language lovers, with nice locations, and very good, of course! music. A must-see.
