Why isnt there a checkout procedure?
With iTalkies you don't need to provide your credit card information everytime you decide you want to rent movies. All you have to do is tell us which movies you want to watch by adding them to the your queue (the "My List" feature on your account). We scan through your queue daily and schedule movies for shipment from that list. The movies we ship to you are based on your priority and the availability of that movie in our library. For example: Lets say, you have Choker Bali (Pri 1) and Dhoom (Pri 2) on your list and you signed up for the 1 DVD subscription plan. When it is time for us to ship out movies for the day - we run through the list of all subscribers waiting to rent Choker Bali. We assign all our checked in copies of Choker Bali to customers based on who added the movie to their list earliest, who has movie assignments remaining based on the maximum number of movies that they can check out on their plan and what other movies they want to see. Thus someone who added Choker Bali to their list before you but wants to see other movies first and/or has already reached the maximum number of movie that they can rent will not get Choker Bali on this day. We similarly schedule any checked in copies of Dhoom.
When do you ship movies?
We ship movies on US postal working days. We do not ship movies on Sunday or postal holidays. On all postal working days except Saturday, we ship movies at 3pm. We build our shipping list at 2pm. Thus if you make any modifications to your "My List" after 2pm we may not pick those changes up for the shipment for that day. On Saturdays, we build our shipping list at 11am and ship movies at 1:30pm.
How often do you ship movies in a day?
We ship movies once a day on postal working days.
What do the "Position on Movie Waiting List" and "Approx. Wait" columns mean on My List?
The "Position on Movie Waiting List" column tells you how many people are before you on that movies waiting list. These are all the people who added the movie to their list before you did. The "Approx. Wait" column tells you the approximate wait times for you to receive the movie.
"Available Immediately" means the movie will be shipped to you once you return a movie to us or if you have less than the maximum number of movies checked out based on the plan you are signed up on.
"Short Wait" means the movie will be available in approximately 1-2 weeks
"Medium Wait" means the movie will be available in approximately 2-3 weeks
"Long Wait" means the movie will be available in approximately 3-4 weeks
"Very Long Wait" means the movie will be available in more than 4 weeks

What other language movies do you plan to carry?
We plan to carry movies in many Indian regional languages. Apart from Hindi, our current priority is to carry movies in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam. Please let us know via our Customer Service or Feedback forms if you would like to see other language movies prioritized.
When will you add other language movies to the site?
We expect to carry movies in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam by the end of February. Any changes to this date will be reflected in this section.
How can I ask you to carry a movie that is not listed in your library?
Once you are logged in to your account, click on the "Didn't find movie?" link in the search area. You can enter details of the movie in the form displayed.
What does a maximum subscription fee mean?
This is the maximum amount excluding taxes that we will charge you for your monthly subscription with iTalkies on a plan.
How do you calculate my monthly bill?
We calculate your montly bill based on the checkout and checkin dates of every movie you rent during the month in question. Lets say you had a movie checked out for five days during a month and another for 10 days during that same month. And for the remainder of the month you didnt have any movies checked out. Then your monthly bill will be (5 + 10) * the_daily_rental_rate_for_a_movie. The daily rental rate for a movie is calculated based on the maximum subscription rate for the plan you have signed up for. It is calculated as: the_daily_rental_rate_for_a_movie = maximum_subscription_fee_for_plan / (31 * maximum_num_movies_checked_out_at_a_time_under_the_plan). Tax is always added on the final monthly bill as required by law.

Will you be adding additional credit cards types?
